There was a time when the whole Singapore cheered for the national team during Malaysia Cup of the 70s when every housing estate sounded like national stadium when Singapore scored.....those old housing estates got torn down before national stadium>Originally posted by ordinaryguy32:Hi Ninja, we don't need anyone (nonameguy, whoever) to chop off anything, all we need is to ask everyone here to go down during the home games to cheer for Singapore all the way!
BTW, Osim woke up and asked about the team.![]()
Are you referring to Vincent Subramaniam?Originally posted by Short Ninja:There was a time when the whole Singapore cheered for the national team during Malaysia Cup of the 70s when every housing estate sounded like national stadium when Singapore scored.....those old housing estates got torn down before national stadium>some spirit of true lion supporters also left with it.
I have to read up on Osim didnt know that he woke up but I dont think he is fit to come back so Japan is going to stick with Okada...Imagine if Singapore lost Raddy and went back to the Indian coach..donowat his name?
I would concur with Raddy too.Originally posted by ordinaryguy32:Are you referring to Vincent Subramaniam?
Our first game is Chinese New Year Eve, 6 Feb, away at Riyadh against the Saudis.
Come on, Lions!
According to Raddy on the FIFA website, he feared no asian team except Ubzekistan.

Yes it was VIncent Subramaniam.
OOii why you bluff me? Osim still in deep coma lah. Because of Osim the Japanese players are Bo-Sim and the fans are Kek-sim ,sure have to work harder even when facing Thailand.
Singapore will be facing a very diffcult first away game against and a draw would really be a big booster because the writing on the wall is getting clearer as to who might win this game.FAS or private donors should pledge a special Ang Pow package should the team do well in Riyadh.God and Osama only knows how many Mercedes Benz Saudi players get for every goal scored.
Common go Lions go dont stop till you reach Africa!!! MEEEOWW!
erh... didn't bluff you lah..Originally posted by Short Ninja:

But anyway Japan should ease past Thailand, Oman and Bahrain...
Where's our South Korean friend these days? Well, I bet he's not too happy about the current state of SKorea's football, even that all the top players are in the wrong type of news..
An away draw would be good indeed.
If you read the FIFA website, one of the Saudi players has already written us off.

1 year ban meaning NOShah Alam for one year??? and no pay for him also right? Toopid fella.Originally posted by ordinaryguy32:Haha... it's ok. It's even better they underestimate us. That way, we can do an Iraq over them.
Cannot play like Noh Alam Shah lah, one game is only limited to 4 sending offs, but speaking of him, he's got a year ban and $2000 fine. The ban is just punishment, but for a player who earns $8k a month, a $2k ban is nothing.
Tonight, fingers crossed, our U23 team is going to be in for a torrid time against the Thais.
I expect us to lose, but I hope we win.
He's banned from all FAS-competitions and tournaments, not an international ban. I expect he will move abroad and play.Originally posted by Short Ninja:1 year ban meaning NOShah Alam for one year??? and no pay for him also right? Toopid fella.
Singapore has to strike early and if not just run the clock for 90minutes which is possible.
Newcastle?Originally posted by LazerLordz:He's banned from all FAS-competitions and tournaments, not an international ban. I expect he will move abroad and play.
If it's intentional on the part of FAS, I think it's quite lame.Originally posted by LazerLordz:He's banned from all FAS-competitions and tournaments, not an international ban. I expect he will move abroad and play.
Maybe it is all forgiven and hopefully forgotten just for 2010 sake.Remember Rooney and Christian Ronaldo? Ok that one was totaly differentOriginally posted by ordinaryguy32:If it's intentional on the part of FAS, I think it's quite lame.
He should be banned from all football.
If it happens, his inclusion in the Lions squad will split the team and affect the team spirit.
no is Dive like ronaldo, stuck up like henry and "handsome" like drogba. lol!!!Originally posted by ronaldog:Sg will never qualify unless i play wif them!!
They say i run like Ronaldo, dribble like Henry, score like Drogba !![]()
Agu and Duric combination can work ar not?Originally posted by hiphop2009:they will need agu casmir to deal wih ubeki's strong physical approach.![]()
I hpoe Singapore qualifies. Then maybe Goal2010 would be reality.Originally posted by iceFatboy:irregardless of result, I hope that the singaporean team can do us proud..
