from the way things are going now:
BPL
1. Man Utd
2. Chelsea
3. Arsenal
4. Liverpool
League Cup: Spurs
FA Cup: Portsmouth
UCL: Arsenal
both Chelsea and Man Utd will be knocked out in the quarter finals, leaving Arsenal the only BPL team in UCL but they will go on to lift the trophy. as a result, Arsenal loses steam in the BPL race and overtaken by the other 2 teams.
Arsenal is losing steam fast ! Just manage to salvage 1pt fr Boro game. Another 2 pts lost against Chelsea & ManU who have a game in hand each!!![]()
ManU manage a solitary goal against lowly Derby despite all the divings.
Chelsea next trials will be the Tottenham & Arsenal games to see if they can reach the BPL title.
final forecast;
Chelsea
ManU
Arsenal
Liverpool
Everton/Villa just hv to wait another season as they just fell to kachang puteh teams.
They youngsters like Gunners ones, can't take the Season end pressure.
if man utd lose their next match and chelsea win theirs, then it'll truly become a 3-horse race again

If Super Sunday goes well, the Blues shld be on their way to a 3rd title......
chelsea got a chance to at least to go to the 2nd position but failed. now 5points difference with man u >.<
hope liverpool can win man u! please!!!
The big 4 clubs charged with bribing scandals. Everton goes on to win the premier league title. Mancity, portsmouth and tottenham gain entry into the champions league alongside everton.

u wish.. xD
United already started their diving run..... you say leh?
my prediction seems to be coming true
aiya who cares who win UCL or BPL? its not going to affect my life in anyway. My salary arent going to increase, my football skills arent going to improve either.
Your team winning the championship would just make you happy and proud for a while but when you really look back, there's nothing to be proud about when the achievements are achieved by others and not you. (eg. Did you donate money to help your team?, are you the owner?)
contradicting. yet u posted above that everton wins the league title.
HAHAHAHAHAHA.
Originally posted by Gasfene:manutd will win de la…they purposely lost/draw to west ham last night so that they wont be top for now. being top is very stressful and opponents tend to play hard against leaders. manutd will only try to wrestle the top position only in april and may by playing lots of mind games and pressurising their opponents.
I am not a man utd fan but i already said in page 1, manutd purposely drop points at the beginning so that they can play the mind games and catch up later.
Manutd never shown any urgency in the beginning of this season even when they were losing/drawing.

no. This is a bit different. Boro is a renowed giant killer.
ManU going drop points now. Chelsea will catch up.
End results:-
Chelsea - BPL title
ManU - runner-up
Arsenal - 3rd ?
4th place - Everton or Liverpool .
now tat arsenal is out of UCL, they will be able to concentrate on the premier league now. although there're only 5 games left, i'm sure arsenal will pip the other teams to the title, starting with a victory over manure this weekend.
Not that Arsenal can concenntrate, is that their striker r too complacent.
LIVERPOOL
Remaining matches:
v Blackburn (home),
v Fulham (away)
v Birmingham (a),
v Manchester City (h)
v Tottenham (a).
On paper, the Reds should easily win all their remaining matches. In reality, if they are still in the Champions League, these games will pale in significance as they chase their second European Cup in four years. Even if they do win every league game, they would need Man United to slip up four times to overtake them.
VERDICT:
Mission impossible.
ARSENAL
Remaining matches:
v Man United (a),
v Reading (h)
v Derby (a)
v Everton (h),
v Sunderland (a).
Should they beat Man United on Sunday, they have four easy games left. Much will depend on tonight. If Arsenal lose to Liverpool in their Champions League clash, they might make a concerted effort for one last title push. But it is a tall order for the jaded young Gunners, many of whom are already running on fumes.
VERDICT:
Highly improbable.
CHELSEA
Remaining matches:
v Wigan (h),
v Everton (a)
v Man United (h)
v Newcastle (a),
v Bolton (h).
Certainly, beating United at Stamford Bridge is a must if the Blues want to win the BPL title. They would also have to eke out three tough points against Everton at Goodison Park. Otherwise, they are the only Big Four club with three home games left. Can they win it, sans Jose Mourinho? They just might.
VERDICT:
Shock winners, anyone?
MAN UNITED
Remaining matches:
v Arsenal (h),
v Blackburn (a)
v Chelsea (a)
v West Ham (h),
v Wigan (a)
The toughest run-in, with the final Wigan match as the only sure-win match. Worse still, defensive stalwarts Rio Ferdinand and Nemanja Vidic are injured at a most inappropriate time. Alex Ferguson remains the best manager to rouse his players to triumph against such odds. But the pressure is on. It would be a major choke if they lose the title.
VERDICT:
Hanging on, precariously
Prediction
Week 1
Reds vs Rovers (Liverpool win)
Devils vs Gunners (draw)
Blues vs Wigan (Chelsea win)
Toffees vs Birmingham (Everton win)
hey i didnt really follow the points tally...can my Liverpool chase for the #3 spot, since chelsea and arsenal still hv to play man u.

Yeah, Chelsea going over take ManU from behind!
Hope they can be a bit like ManU, dive & cheat a little...... dun need to be so honest!
next match, manutd will purposely lose/draw to blackburn and make the title race closer and more alive again. *yawns*
