    • whats with Liverpool? they seems to be doing pretty well earlier part of the season but seems to enjoy doing the great act of escape when things just started to warm up!! Was it something to do with the board? something beyond Rafa? and it seems like unless S. Gerrard is on fire else Liverpool just can’t play to their true potential

    • nothing is really new to pool actually.

they may have good squad wif many international players, but the players simply do not have winning passion.

were they ever in? well they are and so are the rest of the team that makes the league, at the beginning of the season every team does have equal chances for a shot at the glory..

Liverpool IMHO should get a couple of hardman to anchor the team, at times they're too "soft" hence couldn't match the big boys.. unless you have players like those from Arsenal who are just of a different class and are generally fearless as they know no defeat yet.. but having say that, i doubt they are able to last the pace and ManU or Chelsea might just nick infront of them at the end of the season.. sure hope its going to be more then a 2-3 horse run to the wire.. maybe ManC can poke their nose in and give them a run for their money

Yah la, they were never in, since they dun dive like ManU.

I was wondering why Gerrard since stop diving. He shld see Utd players Giggs, Neville, Park, Rooney, Brown, Rio, Vidic & Ron all diving day in day out 2 maintain wins.

    • liverpool fan here.

      its getting frustrating seriously.

last season, anfield was a fortress. away form was super horrible.

this season, away form was good, but back in anfield it just seems that we can't win.

i said before this season is too early for liverpool to win the title, but at least the did live up to the mini expectation of mine to stay in the race until the beginning of the new year.

they aren't entirely out of it, 2nd half of the season is where they usually start to perform (no idea why, maybe cause of slightly fresher legs) and if the top teams slips up, the outcome can be a little different.

but i'm still expecting a top 4 finish though.

i agree. i am a liverpool fan for the past 15 years and sad to say i am getting fustrated and losing my patience too.

Liverpool are not able to kill the game off when they are a goal up. I believe many current players like kewell and kuyt are not good enough to play for liverpool.

Liverpool depends too heavily on Stevie G and Torres. Sad

    • the thing is Liverpool can’t seems to attract world class players, without Rafa i bet the is not way Torres would consider Liverpool given the other choices that he’ll have if he so decide to leave his former club.. during Liverpool’s hey days everyone dream of donning the reds of Liverpool but these days its the reds of London or the Reds of Manchester whom players are more interested in so it’ll takes alot more effort to win the league with the not so world beating players they’ll have unless they have scouts who can spot talents from the lesser known leagues ard the world

    • It's sad though. Liverpool started out pretty good, everyone thought this might be their year!

Now so far from the Top 3 teams.

    • base on liverpool have a match on hand, i think they r still good enough to gain top 3 spot cos chelsea will lose some key players in ACN.

    • I didn't consider Liverpool as title contender from day 1

Under Rafa Liverpool won't win BPL

he love To rotate too much and being too defensively even against weaker opposition

      boring football

    • Liverpool do have a strong team this season.

But, the fault would lie on the manager on not deploying the players to kill the game off.

Most of the weird game issues are due to the wrong tactics by Ah Ben.

This is how far Ah Ben can bring Liverpool.

Ah Ben have been given enough time and funds to make things happen.

But, he seems to take it too easy.

      He caused his own termination.

I am a Liverpool Diehard for 15 years. My stand is that if Liverpool still cannot get close to winning the title next season, than Benitez has to go.

True. He has spend so much on so many players, and hence he cannot claim that he doesn't have the support of the board. Liverpool fans want the English League title, because as long as we don't win it, we would always be cast as has-beens, no matter how Champions League, FA Cup or Carling Cup we win.

Lol even my brother who is a liverpool fan used to say that they dun play boring football due to his biasness towards Liverpool

but now he is frustrated with Rafa and liverpool style of play and blast liverpool boring football and also hope that Rafa get sack sooner rather than later after making so many empty promises and living In the Delusion of the chance to win the title even though they are 12 points behind

honestly Liverpool do play boring but some liverpool fans might beg to differ
