Wigan ordered his team to let ManU players roll over them!

Dispite that ManU on get a 2-0 score by Ron penalty thanks to a dive & Giggs goal where two Wigan players form a line to let him score.

Tis is 17th kelong title where the first title was won by Fergie in "undertable means" which teams like Birmingham were investigated with ManU till today!

United celebrated on the new carpeted pitch laid out before the match to "welcome" ManU to it's 07/08 tainted title!

Even the more popular rugby matches in Wigan were sacrificed for this!

no wonder... I heard that there was an offer greater than Abramovich for them to lose the match..

You must be the one who offered

    • aiya standard la...in a crucial match like this, always got penalty to help the team la. Last time in arsenal's unbeaten run, they also give arsenal a penalty against leicester just so that arsenal and manutd get to unnerve and score another goal. EPL is very kelong one you dunno meh?

    • Anyway, it was a good choice made by chelsea to eventually draw the game at bolton at the last min. NO use to being remembered as runners up who lose on goal difference. It was so near, yet so far.

Since chelsea didnt finish level on points, i dont think manutd's fans' joys were 100% though...i believe they would be happier if chelsea had finished level on points but lose out on goal differences.

Not really lah... Circumstance changed... Had they won that game comfortable in the early part of the match or by 3 or 4 goals, perhaps so... But to watch them struggled and finally took the 1 goal lead then tried to get more but could not then conceding that injury time goal... I think gave United fans more satisfaction in the end... Cos had they lost on level points, i think they still had something to shout about next season like they didn't lose on points but only scored lesser goals...

But with that injury time goal, a United fan should be more pleased that they won the title outright although Chelsea did try to go forward to get another when Shev had another great chance but he blast it wide in the end...

Oh well... Its over anyway... smile.png

    • I thought Wigan played reasonably well until they gave Man U a real good reason to dive.Anyway please go the "We are the Champoins Thread" to bang your balls and cry a river
