      good performance by our national team.
      or is it the japanese are not used to the humid & warm weather here? Confused

      jap’s passing are veri nice .. sg did badly in 1st half and they tend to solo .. trying to claim goals themselves .. thus hardly see them pass.. but in 2nd half they played better ..

      In my opinion, singapore team played badly.. they didn’t make the effort to close down the japs which eventually result in the 1st goal. If the japs are able to convert the chances, it would easily be a 10-1 or more.. Just look how many chances they missed.. Singapore is able to hold the jap simply becoz they kept playing the ball out and fouling the japs.. This kind of attitude must change definitely, esp tan kim leng 1st yellow card.. i admit they did buck up alot in the 2nd half.. esp the defence.. but still made a crucial mistake and lost the match.. haiz.. there goes.. we r out of the world cup 2006 surely…

      lol .. and the sg goalkeeper sunny wanna challenge the jap striker .. and in the end almost cost another goal .. he is lame .... Mad

      singapore can win 1 lor yesterday... nb i was like shouting "GOAL"!!!
      when indra scored...

      japan played suckily yesterday though... looked at singapore too lightly.... and nt playing at their very best..

      Finally there is hope for sg soccer team! Remember sg soccer team always balloon when comes to shooting on goal.But yestersday,out of 6 shots 4 is on target! That is indeed a great improvement! 3xcheers for the Lion.

Beat Malaysia or Thailand 1st be4 u start talking abt "hope"!!!

      I think u must be 4 to 6 years old,not able to witness the Lion won the Tiger Cup in Vietnam! Get yr facts right! Singapore was once Southeast champion few years ago!

      haha, and u said it, "once Southeast champion few years ago"....."Southeast" and "few years ago"....are they the same as "asia" and "now"???....and lets not even talk about World Cup

      But of course, it was a really nice match, one that Singapore did have a chance of winning or at least gaining a draw, a very nice effort indeed…
