      The main reason for creating this forum is to encourage more productive discussions, be it against or for the government.

      I realised that the current Speaker's Corner is rife with trolls and irrelevant poster that derail the productive discussions of genuine folks.

      Hong Lim Park is not entirely freedom of speech.

      You need to apply police permit, therefore regulated by the authorities.

      Hyde Park is actually the birthplace of Speaker's Corner - it will be a refreshing birth.

      Actually, it was fun crossing words with the die-hard MIW wanna-bes, who seem to think that they fit the coat and shoes of the MIW mentors - and prefer to be oblivious to social and political issues that will have a negative impact on the future of Singapore.
