An undergrad committed suicide yesterday. He is from China and currently in his sophomore year. He felt down from his 8 stories high hostel, Kouk Foundation or Extension B to be precise.
ppl in nus are really stressed.. pls don't do this.. ur parents will be sad.. think of all the people who love u..
for those who are stressed pls go realise it by listening to music, cooking baking traveling or something! find someone to talk to..
life is short... treasure it!!

DEATH OF STUDENT FROM KUOK FOUNDATION HOUSE
We wish to inform you about a fatal fall of a student from our student hostel Kuok Foundation House (KFH) yesterday afternoon, 20 Jan 2008.
At about 3.40 pm, Campus Security was informed that someone had fallen from one of the upper floors at KFH. Campus Security Officers rushed to the incident site and found a young man lying on the grass patch near some shrubs. They immediately called for an ambulance which conveyed him to National University Hospital (NUH).
The young man, Mr Wang Cheng (21 years of age) from China, was a second-year (Stage 3) Chemical Engineering student who resided at KFH.
At about 5.00pm, the student was pronounced dead at NUH. His family has been informed.
We are deeply saddened by the passing of this young man and are providing all the necessary support and assistance to his family.
The police are now investigating the incident.

tis kind of things is hard to tell cause many depressed ppl relate themselves to the person and find it reasonable to suicide themselves. it's those kind of psychological things....
let's hope this kind of things wont happen in nus
