As stated, list the restaurants that u should nvr go unless u r a BIG carrot head waiting to be chopped
Ill start: Surf and Turf at Suntec. Serves the most explensive and no-value-for-money meals u can find. $30 for a small portion of steak n crayfish. no standard somemore. No wonder they can employ so many part timers to work there -

Hmm.... However Seoul Garden BBQ? Their prices for dinner are a bit steep and there's not much varieties of food.

Agree about Seoul Garden. No variety at all. Just MEAT MEAT and MORE MEAT! I feel like a carnivore after eating at Seoul Garden. BUT somehow they have lots of customers everytime. At that cost, you have a MUCH better meal at SAKURA!!! aiks... the last time i went Seoul Garden was because I have a 1-for-1 offer and i didn't have to pay. BUT i did not enjoy the food at all.
Also Suki @ Yaki. Not much variety as well. And make sure you finish the food cause my friends and I was charged $20+ extra for wastage of food. For steamboat buffets I think those along Bugis are better, or go marina south if you can bear the crowd and heat which i can't.
I heard the Noodle Bar at Citylink is really bad. Never tried before but my friends have warned me NEVER to TRY. The place is never crowded as well.

Oaks Restaurant, wine & bar @ Tanglin Mall..
baker's inn.. my last trip back in sg, i was told by everyone that their desserts are one of the best around. both my gf's and my souffle was overcooked. the manager then bought us a chocolate mousse cake which was tasteless. -

i went there for set lunch before... less than 20 per pax..

I was invited to a friendÂ’s birthday dinner at Szechuan Court in Raffles City. Thinking it would a Chinese dinner, it is normal to BYO wine for the occasion. As we bring out our wine, we were told that we would be charged $45 a bottle for corkage since itÂ’s happy occasion for us we agreed to pay for the corkage. But to much of our surprise, we were served with some cheap looking glassware instead of the usual wine glass we would expect from some other Chinese restaurant we been to. Also as they changed our eating utensils, most of us found that the chopsticks are stains and so were our wine glass. This is certainly not we expect from a restaurant in 5 stars hotel. I do not mean that restaurant cannot charge corkage but before you start charging you should at least serve some decent wine glass depending on the customers wine. I think the management should be seriously looking into these. As raffles group hotels are now considered world standard but certainly the way we were serve is definitely way behind some great Chinese restaurant locally, at least they do better service and food and best of all no corkage from BYO and you are serve with superb crystal wine glass.

Sake Sushi in...erm...Sentosa. The usual: food quality and customer service. I kinda get pissed off when the waiter uses 'singlish'. Toilet also very small

Pasta Mania at Tampines Mall should be avoided. Bought some crayfish dish and the crayfish wasnt fresh.
And there is one Han's outlet I ate in before (but can't remember which branch =P) where the food was tasteless,oily and lukewarm. Quite gross,actually. -

last time there was a restaurant in Suntec selling stuff like pasta and well, the large portion was no bigger than the small and still cost a lot. The next time we walked past there the restaurant gone liao.

Any place recommended for sandwich? Restaurant or temp store i dont mind as long as its good.
