Food names

  I've check and there seems to be no existing thread on this, so here goes.
  
  What is the local/pasar name for:
  - porkchop
  - tenderloin (i.e. what to tell the pork seller at the wet market?)
  - basil leaf (I think Taiwanese call it Jiu3 Chern2 Ta3)

  Lol. Well if you don't have any luck online you can go down to the western store in your neighbourhood kopi tiam and order a pork chop. And if the business isn't too good(no super long queues) you can ask them.

  o kueh (yam cake)
  o ni (yam paste)

  Oh, you'll be surprised...some of the food connoisseurs here can cook pretty well, so I figured they might know with their powderful Hokkien/dialects!

  If it's bah pah, then it will be the bah tao, but bah tao got no bones, unlike those pork chop from western joints.

  Well, I had a chance to ask the pork meat grocer over the weekend:
  
  Me: Pork chop is which part of the meat?
  She: Oh, it depends, several parts of of the pork can be pork chop.
  Me: ........ Erm....oh, er...ok.
  
  Still as confused.

  The real pork chop is cut from the pork loin
  
  Can be bone-in or boneless
