punggol seafood of the past

still remember the days where we need to ride the super fast and bumpy sbs bus to reach the old punggol seafood restaurants in the "middle of the forrest", very fun ride haha. Although the place was dirty but the seafood was shiok!! ahhh good old memories.....

The Punggol Seafood (Hock Kee) is still at the Punggol Marina Country Club. Food there no longer good. Too much MSG. There was once I ordered the Crab Bee Hoon. After drinking the soup, can't sleep the whole night. Thirsty like hell & keep waking up to drink water & going to the loo.
Also, they tend to serve in large portion even though they jolly well know that you can't finish them.
Still prefer the one next door, Ubin Seafood. Too bad they did not renew the lease or the rental too high. Good food, cheap & will definitely not serving too big portion but will advise on the appropriate serving size.
Any body know where they move to? -

You know where is hougang superbowl? The coffeeshop nearest to it, that's where they are.
They got offer now, 2 crabs for 38. -
i remembered the old old puggol seafood .. next to the sea.. very dirty..
used to go there when i was very young...kinder garten time....
lizards were crawling on the ceiling hahahha
