Cafe Oliv: Latest Value for Money Western Food

  Just opened for 3 weeks. Cafe Oliv is along East Coast Road next to 328 Laksa.
  
  Serves pretty decent western food but more upmarket than Aston's and E Blackboard. They got stuff like salted egg soft shell crabs which are bit different. The Ribs are very good and worth trying. Open till 12mn no GST and service charge!

  Someone told me about it but nobody could tell where along East Coast Rd it was at.

  It's along the stretch where 328 Katong Laksa and Chin Mee Chin is. Opposite is the Ampang Yong Tau Foo and Calton Restaurant. Quite near Still road junction where the Mobil Station is.

  It'll taste even better after you've had cookhouse food.
  
  Is it in that corner unit that changed hands often? There was once an unreasonably-expensive Penang fare restaurant in the latter, and it's opposite Chin Mee Chin and Katong Antique House.

  Went there today and had the following:
  
  soft shell crab 4.90
  mushroom 4.90
  dory 10.90
  cheese pizza 11.90
  
  Only the crab is worth eating...the rest seem like normal fare. I think the crab also abit too salty, hehe.
