Do you find Singapore Chinese restaurants expensive?

  I think they are very expensive. Per head come to around $40 aver.
  In Shanghai, I only pay 1/3 of the price.
  It is also cheaper in Taiwan and Hong Kong.

  Cannot compare lar. From where I am now, a plate if fried rice cost 6~7USD. And that is the cheapest on the menu.

  ppl always want to eat "Shanghai La mian"(pulled noddles).
  
  But in china, those who doing La Mian are actually muslims fron LanZhou, it's around 5RMB for one bowl of beef La Mian. You get to see the guy pull the noddles infront of you.

  In Oz, the cheapest fried rice I ate at a hong kong restaurant cost AUD$6.50. And the french toast is only 1/3 the size of that xin wang serves, and it also costs more than what xin wang charges, tax included.
