You looking for fresh or dry
Dry ones you can find in any supermarket
Fresh some supermarkets and markets
Or you can go to your nearest Plant nursery and buy a Basil plant
Used mainly in Thai food and Western cuisine
Goes well with all kinds of meat
Adds additional flavor to cream soups and fried potatoes too -
yup... it will be nice if u add into those creamy soup... like minestrone also not bad....
but i dun think the leave is edible... =D -
It's a kind of herb used in the cooking of some western dish tho I cannot remember which offhand.......Can be bought in Cold Storage

Very easy to cook.
Fried chopped garlic in the pan, add in freshly cut chilli or chilli padi till you smell the aroma, put in the leaves & mince pork & stir fry.

basil is used alot in Italian culinary.. it's used to make the ever popular pesto.
try deep frying the leafs and use it for a garnish, makes a whole world of difference !
