Hock Lam Beef Noodles price went up?

Beef tribe mix is now $6.50/-

There aren't many places left with good beef noodles...looks like i have to go whampoa or beach road to tuck into a decent priced bowl now... -
a lot of things went up because of the stupid and unnecessary gst hike.

i recommend you ang mo kio avenue 1 there got one coffeeshop sell beef noodle 3.50 DAMN NICE
near mellben seafood, its the coffeeshop with uncle leong seafood -
Parkwat Parade food court one is nice, mixed one, with meat, tendon and stomach.... and giam chye!!!..... $4.80

most value for money in terms of taste and pricing beef noodles in SG is Changi V hawker centre. 4.30 for rice , meat with tripe and tendon ... comes with nice think sauce with 2 kinds of chillis to choose from. MUST TRY

tried once at the upper serangoon branch...my advice...dun ever eat there. The one in town is far better in quality!
But then again, their price so ex...it is no wonder not many pple eat from them (at upper serangoon) when their neighbour's shop (Bai Jia) sells each zhi char dish from $4.80 onwards...
