Jurong West Nasi Lemak

  Hi all,
  
  I have heard that the Nasi Lemak in Jurong West Blk 49+ has closed due to renovation. The coffeeshop is near the CK Mart. Anyone out there know where is the temporary coffeeshop for them to operate? I rally have craving for their Nasi Lemak.

  The stallholder should be on holiday.
  
  Renovation duration is too short for the stallholder to seek a temporary location.
  
  It is also not worthy and no coffeeshop wants to rent out its stall for just 1 or 2 mths.
  
  Try Pongol Nasi Lemak, along Up Serangoon Road. Just raise up your hand and you are there enjoying your nasi lemak.

  it has shifted to Kopitiam (previously Bagus foodcourt)... still not open yet...

  nasi lemak is referring to malay's or e chinese de?
  
  malay de is 1 of e better i've tried so far cos its chilli n rice is power..
  
  boon lay de is over-rated liao.. waste of time n $$ queuing..

  IMO, it's the best. But when people start using the word 'best', the expectations of first-timers just go over the hill.
  
  So i'm not surprised when people claim it's overrated.
  
  I started out eating Nasi Lemak in Seletar, Serangoon and Tanjong Pagar before migrating to Changi Village and finally Boon Lay Market.
  
  And i still believe Boon Lay market is the best, mostly because their rice stands out the most.
