Hmm, as you know, i am obese, and want to know what are considered healthy food.
and healthy food = less oil, less this less that, how to make it into sth that i will eat lea? ![]()
taugey
try to eat less & more vegetables lol ![]()
Eat less every meal, lesser abit lah...
More fruits.. veg i find it hard to commit for most people... just a reasonable amt will do....
and... exercise abit more.... dont too stress yourself, or you end up eating more..etc... step by step leads the way.
Cheers
to lose weight, lower calorie intake..
fewer calories than you use up = weight loss..
simple equation..
other than that, you can eat too much healthy food and still gain weight.. wholemeal bread is healthy... but if you eat a whole loaf with a whole steamed and skinned chicken and lots of fresh fruit for every meal, you're still going to gain weight..
btw.. fresh fruit is good.. it has lots of vitamins, antioxidants and minerals.. but it also contains a lot of sugar.. remember that..
and not all fruit is good for you.. things like durian and avocado is full of fat...
most of all, exercise!
eat wholemeal bread instead of white bread .....
what is your diet like now??
u wan to kiam pui ah?
if u are interested...u can go to my blog to read more... thou not all food are healthy there... or u can tag me and i can respond to any queries...

maybe u shld try to detox first to get rid of the toxins and u can cleanse your body as well. detoxification is best done once a month. you will feel healthier
i have a friend who is slim who eats only boiled veg like spinach, brocoli, kangkong and cai xin. no oil nothing in the boiling water. just purely water n veg. and she always loses weight. but she snacks too. her deadly sins are nuts.
but best is to calculate calories. the nutrition facts behind products will state. a daily healthy moderate comsumption of calories for women is 1600kcal. for men usually 2200 to 2500. if you take below 1600 and u exercise, you def burning your energy thus resulting weight loss. but do it moderately.
maybe you can google DR ATKIN's DIET. his analogy of his diet works for many people n yet you dont have to starve

celery sticks are nice, so are fruits...
You have to adjust your palate gradually, not immediately implement a major overhaul, otherwise you won't be used to it and will end up not following the healthier diet. =P

SINGAPORE: Consumers have rights and that includes the right to healthy food.
So, in conjunction with World Consumer Rights Day which is focusing on fast food this year the local Consumers Association of Singapore (CASE) held a walk for a few thousand participants early Sunday morning.
CASE said it is working with fast food companies to provide healthier options and it has received a response from McDonald’s.
Health Minister Khaw Boon Wan, the Guest—of—Honour at the event, recently highlighted in Parliament how obesity could quickly become a problem in Singapore.
Later at the event, Mr Khaw recalled his conversation with some children at the walk.
He said: "I was very happy when I spoke to the children just now. I asked, ’Do you eat vegetables?’ They said, ’Yes!’. I hope it’s true. I said, ’Do you go for fast food often?’ They said, ’No!’. If they are being truthful, that is a good sign.
"There is nothing wrong with fast food, it’s just (a problem of) how often you eat it. Occasionally, I go for fast food as well maybe three times, four or five times a year. If it’s three or four times a week, that will be very troublesome. Obesity seriously can be a big problem because it underlies a lot of other problems." — CNA/so
There is this French Cafe in Vivocity, Fre(n)sh, that serves amazing salad. First, I have to admit that I was never a vegetarian person, but their serving of salad was HUGE and their ingredients were fresh. Served in a fanciful lop-sided bowl, the salad was an enjoyment. This is definitely the place for me whenever I feel like eating something healthy.
