Singaporean don't know how to eat!

seriously, I was shacking my head when I saw most of the topic here. Most of the ppl here only know foodcourt, instant noodle lah, botak Jones lah, KFC lah, Mcdonald lah.... what else u know? I'm sad when there is so many nice restaurant in SG, but seldom ppl ask and don't even know how to apreciate good food. I still remember last time I went with a group of poly students to Raffles place, we're looking for place for lunch, I found some nice restaurant selling some nice dish from $3.50 - $6, but how come these ppl always prefer Mcdonald, I dun understand, psl note that a set meal will cost u atleast $6 (not cheap),it's that bcos their stomach got Mcdonald's worm or shallow minded?

You must think of the age group also.. You think a group of teenagers aged 14-16 with $400 pocket money per month can afford to eat at nice fancy restaurants?

It means u are pretty shallow minded, good food doesn't mean expensive, this is just an excuse. So $6 Mcdonald meal will consider cheap for teenagers? Oh, $4 nice beef noodle in the restaurant will consider expensive for teenagers? That's why I said u guys are shallow minded. -

I never said good food must be in restaurant, most of the time I know where to find good food in hawker and restaurant as well. And restaurant must not be selling expensive food. If so simple thing u also don't know, then I feel u are no different with those Mcdonald fetish teenager. -
