    • It seems like the best place for cha Kwa Tiao is still the good o' Hawker. But they are a dying breed.

Very hard to find really good one nowadays....

    • Hong Lim Hawker Centre, 2nd level.   I did not try it but my sister who loves it says it is one of the best.

    • Newton Char Kway Teow at Serangoon Garden FC.

Btw, anybody know where is the Tua Pui (Big Fat) Char Kway Teow at Lavender? Last heard his son got the SAF Scholarship 2 years ago & now they are no longer there. The coffeeshop is now taken over by a teochew porridge stall.

    • No 18 Zion Road Fried Kway Teow @ Zion Road Riverside Food Centre - the one with the Hallelujah signboard - voted Makansutra Legend.

The Kway Teow comes with a strong "Wok Hei" flavour.
