healthy & a balanced diet is the way to go but its ok if the sch sets aside a day for just a particular fried food but go with other healthier choices so as to balance it up..

i'm just comparing the days the students spend in and away from school. they have more time away from school which gives them more chances to lay hands on fried food and schools banning them in canteens should help in moderating.
also by omitting it completely, schools may just be cultivating students having preferences on healthier food over fried food.
