Anybody knows of nice hot chwee kuay with nice toppings on it ?? hmmm which might be available in the evening till late ?? or anytime of the day then ....

the chwee kuay in Ghim Moh market also not bad

yeah!!! Tiong bahru market chwee kuay is rated BEST in spore...
if wan to eat it, mk sure u reach there earli. if u thought of havin supper over there, then u can drop the idea liao cos it open up till 10plus. (latest 11pm)...
Beside chwee kuay is nice, u can try the porridge... stalll name is *** chicken rice... i onli remember the chicken rice cos sellin porridge but stall name state chicken rice... hmm.. quite funny. maybe in the daytime, the stall is selling chiken rice ba... anyway, it is a great choice to eat at tiong bahru market... -
I still think that the chwee kuay in Ghim Moh market is still the best. Maybe its because its taste is kinda different from the one in Tiong Bahru, thats y people who like GM mkt's chwee kuay will not like TB's.

Not only the chwee kuay is nice there, the foods there are tasty and cheap/ But the atmophere too crowded and oily.

Tiong Bahru one, opposite the chwee kuay stall got one stall sells:
nice porrigde with fried intestine...
also got plain porridge, you can order with chicken, or cantonese yu sang... (FISH leh!)... yum... -

Yup, the tiong bahru market one.. 2 stalls there.. not sure, but the one you have to queue up is the famous one.. They're still selling even till night time

Long before all these stalls, there were afew that I know of, used to push their carts along the road in Chinatown area... I am used to those Chwee Kuay than the current types, like Tiong Bahru/Bedok stalls. They still do but not many now, only one I know and left is still selling in Chinatown hawker centre. However, there is a branch from of either Bedok or Tiong Bahru stall (not sure which one) has also set up a stall there. Last few times I was there in the morning, business wasn't that good as most people queue at the other stall that I like most given a choice.
Its only open in the morning between 6.30am ~10am, or even earlier on Sat & Sun (close at 9am maybe, due to sold out). Its make and sell style, as they sell, they make and when all is done, they close shop. Its been there for years already. 8 for $1 (CHEAP). the kuay is soft and tender, unlike those common ones which I hardly eat, and the toppings are also self made, light brown in colour boiling in ceramic pot. Most topping will turn drak brown or black upon further boiling, but not this. that's my favourite, no. 1. Often only get to eat at the Bedok stalls as I often go there.... -
In a kopitiam in hougang ave 10(can't really recall). Its such a damn long time, but I do remember where the owner lives.
