Where to find good TAPAS?

I have been craving for good Spanish tapas ever since I got back from Spain. Any suggestions or recommendations?

Hi, thanks for the recommendation. I guess I haven't been to Chijmes for a long time. Didn't know that they have a tapas bar there.
I was in Spain in Nov last year. I think I went to Lizzaran in Barcelona for tapas too. Is it near the train station? Or was it at Valencia. My memory is failing me.
Anyway, I flew into Barcelona then travelled by train to Valencia, Granada, drove to Sevilla and Cordoba then took the speed train to Madrid. My final destination was Lisbon, Portugal.
I have to say the tapas in Spain is wonderful. I love the gambas al ajillo and the champignons.....Oh, I miss their Sangria too!! Any idea if they serve Sangria at Ochas? -
lizarran is outside of the barcelona city centre.. opposite louis vuitton shop... the street name is av de mallorca.. dun think its anywhere near to sants station... they do serve sangria at ochas...

i went to barcelona... went to the beach called port vell, barceloneta, ard those area la... tried their paella... didnt really like it cos too saltish... stayed outside of the city so everyday gotta take train... 15 mins... the train stn is called st feliu de llobregat.. was in madrid n costa del sol few yrs back... tt place better, more beautiful... how abt urself?

I didn't have time to go to Costa del Sol area. Anyway, it was winter season then, so I don't think it was going to be happening there.
I stayed in Barcelona city, somewhere close to the Sagrada Familia. I had very good paella in a small town outside Valencia. It's called Albujarras. Had to take 1 hour bus out of Valencia. Quite a quaint town and the people there are very friendly. Paella from the normal eateries aren't that good and are usually too dry and salty.
Have you been to other parts of Europe? -
been london, paris, frankfurt, amsterdam, brussels, rotterdam, delft....

not sure....actually...my job takes me all over the place......now in madrid...next week will be in barcelona....gonna try out the lizzaran place you guys talk about.....hahaha.......
can get kind of sian to be travelling alone......language problem, food problem, no problem with girls tho

the lizarran place is 6 streets down from the zara passig de gracia store.. its pretty famous among the locals there.. so u shld have no probs... av de mallorca... which hotel will u be staying?? pls buy the zara clothes there.. super cheap lor...

you mean in ramblas ??...okok..i will go look for it......will ask the locals...yah agree zara clothes is cheap here man...about 10-15%....hahahaa.....but i like Pull and Bear more......very nice......

oh...forgot to mention that the last time i was in barcelona....my friends drove me to some mountains think near to sabadell.......it is a house with a family staying inside..very home kind of feeling.........the steak was good...served on hot plates....and the snails..........wah.......amazingly good and cheap....will try to get the address and post it here.....

try nt to eat at the eateries near the ramblas area.. too ex n nt really v nice...

amuse bouche is super rip off lor... the only thing tts better as compared to ochos is the service n ambience... not worth the monies...
