      I tried self study (java) cant make head or tail out of it siah….no IT bgd…anybody has any good sites to recommend? most assume u alady noe sumthing.

      I’m learning Java too. which part you don’t understand? swing, applet or application?

      you don’t understand import java statements? or you don’t understand the difference between Java application or applets? How about public static void main and init? Which part? Have to start somewhere.

      It's not hard to learn java ... you may need practice and source codes...

      Go to lexzeus.tripod.com/fp/index.html, I make a RPG in java, that will increase your motivation I believe.. and there are source codes (tetris, pin ball, minesweeper) written in java.. u can see them, debug them ... or learn, why this and why that..

      Glad more people learning java .. may C# and .net sink to the deepest pit... Smile
