i think if u know the person well enough u will be able to know why he/she lied to u in the first place...
i think for me .. it would depend on who n what the lie is abt ... whether is it out of good intent or malice/selfishness .... whether is it justifiable enough for forgivness ...
well, to conclude, it would be pretty much subjective as to how we will react...we might react differently to the same lie told by different persons...
anyway .. to love is to forgive .. but make sure u come out of it a smarter person not to fall for the same lies again!
sumtimes no matter how much it hurts.. u will just forgive him/her cos u love the person too much n do not want to lose your friendship over a lie.
sumtimes it will hurt so much that theres no point in carrying on a friend/relationship with that person.
at some point in time we ourselves have lied to our dearest friends ... yes even lil white lies count... -

Someone dear lied to me, thinking that I won't know. But I always seem to know (Sigh), but I can't say it, cos by doing so, by exposing the lie, I'll be ruining things between us, he/she will not be happy. It doesn't seem logical. I should be the one who's unhappy, so why should I care if he/she is unhappy? But I just refuse to let this lie ruin things between us, so, I'd rather fall for it or let it slide.
Is anybody as silly and pathetic as me? -

another way is to let the person know that u do know but does not mind... so in future do not have to keep it from u .. one little lie is the start of a whole web of lies... so might as well nip it in the bud since u already know?
but of cos have to be careful how u put it.. weird hor..when it shld be the "liar" who shld be explaining to u instead of u explaining to him/her... -
say wat u mean and mean wat u say..

if its a white lie, then i wont be too angry.
However, if its something hurting, of cos angry lah! VERY angry! but dats the 1st reaction ...aft dat, i will forgive the person...altho i may not forget that the person lied to me. and of cos, the level of trust i have in that liar will not be there anymore...until a long, long time later. -

Anyway, my first reaction would be anger towards that person and if I am in a really bad mood, I would shout or scream at him/her.
If I am in a good mood, I will try to analyse why he/she is doing that.

Depends on wat's the reason of that person lying. I mean pple always lie now n then. So depends. But if like purposely, to hell b wif that person.
