Calling all the Pool Kao Shou in this forum, me here but hope to play the experts to improve my skills. I think playing with very good players and learning from them very important to improving skills! Anyone wanna arrange an outing play pool? Me like to play at Monstercue but anywhere will do, even pub also can.

I can teach u the rules, 8 ball is quite simple. If you want to know about 9 ball then me not so sure.

Hello me play pool too but what do abf mean by 8 balls or 9 balls? Dun quite get it also.

Eight ball is when u arrange the balls in triangle shape and then finish potting either stripe or colour to take the black. Usually played at pubs.
Nine ball is played with nine balls numbered 1 to 9 and arranged in a diamond. Opponents have to pot balls in sequence or use available numbered ball to pot the number 9 ball. -
8 ball is my game.
Never try 9 ball before.

For 9 ball u have to play the ball in order of 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9..... openn cue enter any ball is ok. But the trick is if u can use your nest ball to foxy/connon 9 into the hole you win.
i.e. if your next ball to be played is 4, with the white ball strike at the no.4 ball to connon the no. 9 ball into the packet. You win even if the rest of the ball are not cleared -

My house too poor....no bamboo poles...therefore have to go kopitiam and buy...another version of bamboo poles...sugar cane..can be use as cue and at the same time if thristy..can suck the juices...what a pleasure pool can be..playing and quencing thrist at the same time..=P
