juz got into army last mth..army life really sux man..wkends den can book out..so many tinks to do but no time..den no freedom over dere..cannot contact de outside world..no gers oso..haiz

u'll only appreciate after u ORD. i miss army now.... so carefree.. everyday play magic cards with campmates, go home play gunbound, occasional exercise, 2,4,6 camp runs, spec mass fried chicken, $0.20 KOF.... i miss them all. now in school, tutorials, projects, presentations..this is what i call no life

Army life is really care-free, few worries, and all of those worries are confined to camp. Once u step out, u have time to do what u want.
You'll miss this care-free existence once u ord, when u have to bring work or school assignments home to do.
Army will make u appreciate civilian life more, we all take it for granted. Plus your army buddies will become some of yur best frens. -
The grass is always greener on the other side of the fence.
Get use to it while it last. -
actually what do u guys do while in NS? Is it tough in there? My friend told in its only tough for the first 3 months i think. But army life seems fun to me

anyway, just bear with it lar. i always find that guys who dont go through army are not man eventually. and for guys who, ahem, be a clerk or do nothing in thier army life, comes out to be not a man either.

I kinda miss going to other army camps, visit friends, visit their mess, watch movie at their mess... spending the day at tekong carefree just to visit the ammo dump then pay a visit to friends at bmtc HQ...

2)Sweaty clothes are everywhere..Singapore weather is hot dont u agree?...What will u do if u are those who even sweat in air con..u dont have a choice do u..
3)dont tell me u have not heard vulgar words duturing your school/civilian life.If u are NSF, its a boon at least people in army are honest with their emotions expressing them out for u to better judge their character and xpectations and adjust accordingly...its not the same in the civilian world working life where ppl do hold grudges against and u never know it till one day the person backstabs u...
3)Fnd a girl is like finding a jewel?.who says so..Many army camps have these chobus working there as DXOs ect...many females are signing on in Combat vocations now
4)The government wans chinese blood to serve, what about our malay and indian frens who are also serving....in certain places there are high number non-chinese like Provost, armour, Guards ect........
5)Army isnt easy...But after u have OR-ed, Life isnt easy either..it all depends on your outlook and the choices u make....
6)Defending our land is the same as defending your family , frens from Danger...Whether u are a soldier or not, will u stand there and do nothing if some foreigners invade our land and do funny things to your girlfrend,wife or mother? Army gives that extra ability to handle such a situation if faced wth one..be happy and do not fret..
