How many children you want to have when you are married?

  One will be too lonely & will become selfish
  Two is ideal, preferably 1 girl & 1 boy.
  
  More means u can never retire early cos maintaining the kid is just too expensive in S'pore. Tuition & University fees are rising every year.
  
  Also don't depend on your kids to take care of u in old age cos they will have problems paying high housing loans with lowly paid jobs.
  
  My aunty in her late 60s still has to work cos her son got retrenched & unable to find work + her own high medical bills. She broke down & cried, so all the relatives have to chip in to help her.

  my children no need tuition and university. so cheaper. got govt help

  Try taking care of your own sliblings first ba.... Not easy to have many sia, somemore they restrict much of your freedom if you have them young and you are someone who's more outgoing and adventurous... Having 2 or 3 later in life might be nice... cos the kids themselves will get to have company from brothers and sisters...
  
  But given a choice... I want to have daughters! Maybe it's becos I dun have any sisters... I've been taking care of my 2 younger brothers since they were babies... -.- So would want to experience that girls go through when they grow up...
