All deuter users and fans lip lai!!!
Seeing that there's a crumpler thread, let's have this thread dedicated to deuter as well...had my first deuter bag in 2003 and it looks almost as good as new even with my rough usage [ i practically carry it around almost everywhere..]
Personally feel that they're the most value-for-cash bags available, considering their quality...
Too bad they dont produce messenger bags..

haha deuter bags are good la.comfortable and ergonomically designed.plus thick cushion....im using the trans alpine series and the air comfort....good and reliable bag...yup.

i'm using osprey bag... much better in terms of quality den deuter. heard from a lot of shop keepers that the deuter bag management in sg change so the qulity go down...
those who wan to buy deuter bag gotta wait till next ahlf of the year den buy.. heard there's new management taking over the company. now u dun see new design yet coz still old management in sg...

I got my Outdoor backpack for $12, its water-proof, light, tough.....but well "nice" is rather subjective though.

How do u rate the paddings and the bag staying on your shoulders for a long period of time? -
When I look at a Deuter bag, I cant help but feel I'm paying for the brand name.
Sports Connection having sale on all these bags. I dunno, but the sale has been on for so many months already, business must be bad. 30-80% off storewide.
They got Deuter, Osprey, Outdoor, CamelBak, Vertikal and High Sierra.
Doubt they're new designs... But hey, they are kinda cheap. The one in Plaza Singapura seems to have a nice selection. Though you might wanna go take a look at the Osprey packs before you decide on a Deuter. -
deuter bags are quite durable. i got 1 for years before i decide to change to another.

I bought 1 deuter for 120 and it last me for 2 year which i bring to school everyday and till now it is still useable but the color some sort of fade... If u wan quality maybe u can consider this but it really bulky...

may be the down side is it dun have the air strip thing in deauters bag. ur back will sweat a a little when u carry long and in hot weather. but of coz if u all realise all air stripe bag in deauters bag got 2 piece of metal in ur bag tat add to more weight ... -

my fren bought his deauter bag last november and now the wax already peel off. usually these bag last ard 2-3 years unless urs is really those very big back pack which i dunno how long it last... maybe longer -
i bought my deuter starlite bag last year in march and it is now in a fugging bad condition man... plus the bag smells damn bad now.
