Bangkok power socket?

  Hi,
  
  I will be going to bangkok with my family on this 26th may, i need to know the type of power socket that the country is using.
  
  Went there once, but with my friend and they bring the plug there for me instead. Forgot how the plug look like.

  I think 3 pins/2 pins sg type is ok...btw google is the best for finding all kinds of info..*advertising googlee...=p*

  2 pins ones...having a earth wire socket is expensive,they don have that much money la...

  Most of Bangkok uses the 2 flat, parallel pin type (no earth).
  This requires this kind of plug:
  
  
  Only good hotels sometimes have earth connections.
  In this case, you can either use the above plug....or this one (if you want earth connection:
  
  
  You can easily buy from many shops the adaptor for Singapore/Bangkok use. I have a few, as I travel around quite often.
