Hey forumites, sorry to dig up old bones you all have probably buried.
But I want to peruse through the racist scholar's ORIGINAL words when he wrote his apparently "EVIL" blog which got shut down.
Because with all the hype and lawsuit stuff we hear about, it is hard to believe that a scholar could get into so much trouble over vague accusations like the use of the word "irksome" remarks about other races. Other vague descriptions include "racist" "offensive" remarks.
My point is, the stories about his blog were too vague for a peasant like me to comprehend.
So anyone knows EXACTLY what the apparent "racist" upstart said about other races? -

I REFER to the article, 'Scholar under fire for racist blog entries' (The Sunday Times, April 17). The Public Service Commission (PSC) has investigated the issue and Mr Chua Cheng Zhan has given us his explanation.
PSC does not condone the making of racist comments by its scholars. It views this matter seriously and has issued a letter of reprimand to Mr Chua. We note that Mr Chua has taken full responsibility for the comments made on his personal blog and has apologised publicly for his insensitive remarks.
We would like to take this opportunity to remind all PSC scholars to conduct themselves in a manner becoming of holders of a PSC scholarship at all times.

Flat noses are even more repulsive (even if I own one of them). White chicks rock because they have nicer features.

mang ka-li is a derogatory term for Sikh. But it is closer in sound to Bengali (Bangla).

But i wish more people like him existed because then my chances with this cool half filipino/white girl would increase, since she is beautifully tanned =) and no chinese guys would "jio" her hahaha!

But the truth is that human being in this world consist of many colours, is human mind set, my fren saw a pretty chinese gal par tho with an indian guy, he said he cannot tahan, where are all the chinese guys? u say this is racist or not, i dont know, indian also human being, so why all this nonsense. -

So it's not just the comments per se, it is also from whom it came that fueled the controversy. -
whatever he said didn't seem very offensive. it sounds like a typical conversation anyone would have their own friends.
the point of his rant seemed to be that the singaporean association is now being ruled by non-singaporeans, and they just happened to be indian. -

you see most part of our armed forces...a number is filled by them..
with an indian president and dpm "representing" them..

And most of us are all siding with our white side and fleeing the alleged "uncool" asian sides of us, away in some white country.. all except myself =)
