Why would you want to learn JAP?

I am just curious why people would want to learn japanese?
Like if you are a Singaporean who is fluent in mandarin and english, and learn another language, WHY would it be Jap? Just curious, no offence or pun intended. -
1st time i want to learn japanese were when im 10 years old.. because i damn CB envy my friend bro can play latest japan version RPG.
when im 16-18, i wish so much i can understand the lyric from the very style J-pop and japanese drama.
........until now..., i wish i can understand the word from porn video.
