Recently i receive my results and was announce as outright fail and few days ago i was called back by the school and they given me 2 option, (1) Repeat as a first year student or (2) Join the army. This decision is very hard 4 me to choose so i decided to post here and allow all u ppl 2 vote, i'll take the most vote as the final.
If repeat, you gonna re-take all the module again, so its very sian.
If join army, at least still got income. -
so will it be (1) or (2)? My future rest on u guys...

Actually, if I were you, I'll go back to studying instead of going to army. IF you won't die out of boredom retaking and really thing you will be able to do better this time(it should be much easier now) then retake. If you go army then you might loss interest in your studies

Retake better....cos after u ORD u may not feel like studying...
Tae my advice....dont make the mistake many other guys did...especially the part after ORD>..ask some A level geeks here u resumed studying UNI after NS....ask them how difficult it was to get back to old studying life... -

have you considered why you failed? if you failed as a consequence of playing too much then i would suggest going for the restudy assuming you have woke up to you idea and are realy interested in the course you are taking.
if you failed that badly even though you have tried then i guess you should consider trying some other course or going to army.

My advice,repeat as first year student,after army its hard to get the gear going and after 2 yrs+ of army psychoing + chiong sua u cant think..LOL.

i retook my o levels last time n when i went back to sch, i had difficulties copin with p/time n poly classes.. not like they were difficult, but.. it's takin twice the time i would need if i had stopped for just 6 mths instead of 18.. -
ask urself a question, why did you take this course in the first place? interest? being force? for future career ........? is not a wise choice to have the ppl here to decide your future...............

Do you have any interests in studies right now? Or are you just playing around? If you do, then it's no point to continue any further.
Secondly, if you quit and go to the army, will the door of education open for you after you finished your NS?
I will choose choice 2 if I were you because as one grown mature, he will think wisely. Furthermore a person can make a correct decision under despo condition (Example like cruel societies only see cert). -

seriously, i think you should take your future into your own hands mans. you knoe whats good for yourself, and u knoe yourself better.
so, weigh out the pros and cons, then see what u should do. seek parental advice, or frens who have been in the same situation as you before.
anyways, in my opinion, i feel that you should retake the mods again.
no harm trying another time, yea?

repeat, this is the price you got to pay for failing, when i failed my o lvls, my school refuse me to repeat.. if u give up and go to ns, when u come out, you might not have the motivation to study any longer.
but honestly, u got 4 bloody modules, how the hell did u fail!? -
1)Thnx guys 4 posting ur advice 2 me, but my school fees isn't cheap either, my intention is go in army 1st, at least get some income den after that,when i ord, i could pay my sch fees wif my own army money rite? den no need 2 depend on my mother already.
2)If i were to repeat as first year, it is pain to see my ex-classmate goes to 2nd year whilst i remain, have to retake everything again and again. Its very bored.
