My computer infected by spywares!

Last time,always got error message warning me about spyware but I ignored them,then I realised my PC is running slower and slower with the HDD grinding very hard to do its work.Must be the work of the damm spywares!
Anyone have free spyware or anti virus downloads to recommend? -

go download.com and find i think spybot S&D is good you can try using multiple antispywares if you want to be sure

I am running spyware doctor now-472 infections and counting! How come I run Microsoft anti spyware stuff,only got 1 or 2 infections only?

when i dl ad-aware and did my first scan on my PC also alot found...
and BTW beware of those fake error when u surf the internet...the messages r actually popups and they direct u to website that dl the remover......
but there's a sentence clearly stated on one side.."advertisement" -

Lavasoft Ad-aware
Spybot Search & Destroy
Spybot is fast
Ad-aware is thorough and has a comprehensive list of spyware/adware
Microsoft can remove certain spyware/adware that the other 2 cannot remove due to certain stuffs about the Windows OS.(Experienced it once with a nasty spyware that tied itself to a dll file in IE) -
get a MAC

My advice is reformat your hard disk. Install your Windows again. Immediately get the latest patch from the Windows Update website, including Service Pack 2.
Don't open unknown source executable from the web. Don't use pirated software as it might contain spyware.
Then you are fine. -
install spyware blaster from javacoolsoftware.com also. i am told that they were suppose to complement the free version of ad-aware which doesn't come with ad-watch.
