  my Philips CRT going kaput already (after 5 years)
  
  thinking of getting a LCD
  any recommendations?
  15", around $300
  
  saw some unknown brands going for 270+... any good?
  
  views / reviews appreciated...

  17" LCD around $500 and below ,8ms cun gift(KB and mouse).

  i got mine at a creative warehouse sale in 2003.. and its working well even till now.. its 17 inch and it was about 300+ back then.. not sure how much now.. it was a good buy though.. no dead pixels too ^^
