ok all......
next week, i'll be starting work at Watson's. dunno which branch yet.
just curious and have a few questions :
1) the uniform is purple color shirt with black pants lah. but is it tuck-out or tuck in? i remember i see their staff is tuck-out one, but not too sure leh.
2) secondly, watson's is sell only those personal care products like hair shampoo, gel etc is it? or they sell other stuff as well? like snacks? -
They sell luggage too.

beside toiletries and cosmetics, they oso have other things like slimming pills, massager, soft toys, snacks, umbrellas..... -

because last 2 weeks i went interview, then got a lot of nerdy boys, i tell you. untidy hair, wear specs, never shave, confirm those one day play 7 hours of games one, i tell you. then the interview there also got a few aunties, a few uncles(47++ ones) and mostly is those overweight malay girls.
i don't have anything against overweight girls lah.......but.....the young girls there pretty or not? or is it those young but ugly and overweight one?
anyway, i think only in those city branches then got young girls lah.
those neighbourhood watsons i see is all aunties like that leh.
as for the uniform, aiyah.....no choice lah. have to stoop so low now. sigh.
that kind of purple uniform really is insulting my ego and style loh. wear purple t-shirt and tie never mind. at least tuck out can already.....but.......haiz.....
if anyone knows the uniform style, do tell me hor. thanks!

Why don't you do some investigations yourself and go check a few Watson's stores? That way, seeing is believing.

dunno leh. still need to report to HQ on first day and then they assign you to your store. but i hope it's a "youthful" store with at least some cute girls lah. otherwise......sigh. very sad lah.

no lah, i've been in that kind of situation before. dunno why lah, but i've mastered the art of keeping very cool loh.
i sit on bus and got teen couple kissing hotly i also immune.
i got se one guy his face like just kenna saturated sulphuric acid i also immune.
so sanitary pads nothing lah. even if they ask me to open the package, adjust for them a bit etc., i also see it as a job.
also, if the girl tries to be funny and ask me how to use the sanitary pad, i also will be cool and refer them to the female staff.
if they say they want to kiss me, i'll say "oh yes, thank you. after work, please."
i think i got good future in watson already. maybe will be promoted to store supervisor one day, then promote go HQ become executive staff, then manager, then general manager, vice-president, CIO, President......then.....CEO. then they send me go A.C Watsons Group in America become general manager there. when i reach 40 years old, will get promoted to vice-president of the american watson HQ. then.....CEO.
i also will remember you all one.
besides......i not cashier mah. more like sai-kang executive and sales assistant/retailer lah. cashier is better, cos' u can get to meet and interact more also, not so boring.

got lah. i went today to West Mall there, the Watson's quite big. also went Jurong West.
but.......now i lose all morale lah. the girls wear purple blouse with black pants(TUCK-OUT!!!).
the guys wear purple shirt(i think is long-sleeve) with black pants(TUCK-IN!!!!). the tie is purple too, but darker. ARGH!!!!!!
am i going to wear this kind of pimp clothes? anyway, on my 1st day, i'm going to ask the HR guys why the uniform like that for guys. really sad lah. why the uniform like that one? they no brains meh? why they want to spoil their own image and professionalism? image very very important one.
look at 7-11. their uniform so cool + tuck out.......sigh. but 7-11 must work shift lah, which i hate.Hope you will enjoy it and get to rub shoulders with people of all ages.

KNN....i'm not used to what you're now...KNN....
no lah.......because that war with Brownie really cost a lot of my energy lah. somemore, during those days, i still need to go out find work etc.....no easy loh. in the end, i end up becoming very haggard and sapped of energy.
maybe one day when i feel recharged again, i get into wars again loh.

no lah......my only solution is not to smile too widely if i'm in that uniform, otherwise people think i'm pimp or something in that hell uniform.
i really got serious problem with it leh. have to talk to the higher-ups already. they got no brains is it? anyway, this kind of issue u tell the store supervisor/HR director no use one.
must e-mail and try to reach CEO if possible.
anyway, the only workaround is to stay in the store and don't go out.
otherwise look very out of place. walking pimp ah? no lah! -
