Microsoft Windows Anti Spyware Beta
It's good. It managed to spot spywares that could not be identified by other anti-spyware programs like spybot, adaware, spy hunter and spy sweeper.
The advance tools feature allows you to secure and customise the list of programs to speed up your start up. It also helps you keep track of the BHO( browser helper options) of your internet browser. This is crucial as many spyware plant themselves on the BHOS.
Furthermore, the beta version includes the tracks eraser that delete tracks of your internet surfing resulting in more internet privacy!
It's good and definitely a useful tool in helping curb the attack of spyware.

I've heard about the SP2 issues, but perhaps I've been lucky enough to not have met such problems with the SP2. I've always thought that SP2 was a crucial security update. They've addressed a couple of security issues with the SP2.
Anyway, back to topic. I agree with the Beta versions being less stable than the full version. I actually found it to be good because it managed to spot a threat that other spyware removers I used did not manage to track.
Perhaps the best spyware to use is a combination of several. -
