Dun worry , all you A Level wussies have a better life in the army .. most of u wont get the cock up posting ... when u go army , remember to ask your officers and sergeants who they rather take , A Level guys of Poly guys. Aso remember to ask which batch will do better.

Ya lor. Study so hard, last paper, and then u're left with 14 odd days before ur enlistment. Sian.. But then it is better that u enlist early cause u'll also ORD early. U enlist in April, it is quite depressing watchin' ur camp mates ORD ahead of u. Take heart la, anyway u aren't the only one wad, almost everyone faces the same shit year in year out. As they always say in e army, just lan lan suck thumb lor..

Precisely.I enlisted 10 days after my last paper back in '02.Thought it was pretty sucky, but I managed to go Japan for a week before enlisting.So that took care of the post-exam unwind session and eventually, when I ORDed this year in April, I was the one smiling, because I had the time to prepare or read up more before Uni term began, unlike those who went straight to Uni from their NS term..i.e ORD july..Originally posted by Quincey:Ya lor. My first and last advice to A levels grad in BMT.
Be initiative and don't be rigid!!!
Lastly, my fiest impression on A lvl NSboys are CMI. i'm bias against A levels grad generally until they prove themselves. -
haha... i understand cos i last time oso 14days after A lvls go enlist.... e worst thing is my prom nite 2 or 3 days b4 enlistment ! anyway in army there would be 2 main obstacles: damn siong training & fuck-up ppl(includes everybody from ur oc csm pc ps sgts cpls lcps ptes recs... ) good thing is every fuck up person or thing u encounter will only make u stronger... haha...

my prom is on the 2nd dec. my friend paid $76 for it and kaboom! the letter came. enlist on 2nd dec.
i don't see why NS is tough. actually, i'm looking forward to it. when do you get up close and personal with weapons/grenades if not NS?? of course, i wouldnt want to know how some of my schoolmates(i mean, the nerds) would handle NS. anyone who knows how their fellow nerd schoolmates' encounter with NS? NS is also a great time to buff up ur body. and.. i've yet to receive my enlistment letter. -
