Winblows PeeCees are just game machines for me. i leave mine infested and f*** around with all sorts of virus and malwares, afterall its just a gaming machine. i wont leave my important works on them. -

1. Use Opera
2. Don't buy crap junk like Norton 2006 (just the same as 2005, Symantec releases versions for the sake of releasing)
3. Use a good firewall and antivirus combination. I use Zonealarm and AVG, so far no viruses.
4. Don't take risks. Press F12 in Opera and disable Java, Javascript. -

I would like to bring your attention to a very scary Trojan, which infected my PC [b]7 times already while serving many forums in just one day. Anti-Virus software don't seemed to be able to stop or detected at all, can't even scan for it. Had to use Anti-spyware to sniff it out, don't even know your are infected.

Only tell tale sign is when you are directed to another site, if your computer security is low or you are not using a good malware.
I could not log into those forums. Which made me curious. I checked my firewall and found nothing wrong. I then Disable it .. also nothing wrong. But when I disable all my anti-spyware programs, only then I was directed to other advertising sites.
I usually gets it when I tried to login into forums. What it does, is it embedds five entries into your computer registry, whether you have an active anti-virus or anti-spyware program.. don't seemed to stop it.
Later, I found out that even downloading videos file, also will get infected
BTW.. the free Ad-aware anti-spyware program don't work.\
So guys.. just giving you a heads up..

I have been using eTrust EZ anti-virus and eTrust Firewall(all latest version) for 1+ year and seldom get infected by virus(ONLY1% chnaces get virus ) only when i surf "certain website" then i will get infected!!!

Video file in zip? the originator video must be hot and someone paid $$$ him to put in a trojan. He may be paid according to the hits to the payer website.Originally posted by MobyDog:.

Download Spyware Blaster it can prevent the installation of spyware,adware,tracking cookies and ActiveX.
It Works For both Internet Explorer N FireFox.
Is the Best Combo that i have use to prevent my computer getting infected by virus,spyware,adware,keylogger. -
mcafee blows, norton blows harder, panda isnt the greatest, didnt find some of the shit i had on my comp, avast finds everything

I am using the latest version of Zone alarm firewall, Spyware blaster, Norton 2005, Ad-aware, spybot. To give me layered protection.
I have tried avast. I don't like avast and uninstalled it months ago.
With all the that above, the trojan got thru anyway, and couldn't even able to detect it.
Only Spyware doctor did, I truly recommend it. It has detected more adware than those mention above. The active Onguard real-time function is really great. I subscribed it yeaterday
I have uninstalled ad-aware. It's crap
