"While capturing video using my hdv video camera, i cannot capture any video whatsoever because there is no preview in the capture window." Note when im using my dv camera, there is a preview and i can see picture.
I need an Aunt Agony for software.. lol
So the only way i can capture effectively is to use Imovie to capture the video file, then work on it using final cut pro.
Qn: Will my video quality suffer because i capture it using Imovie and not final cut pro?
lol this question is soooo random.
have u successfully captured any videos before?
anyway, i used to use a video rack to capture video. never used a camera directly before.
regarding quality loss, you won't have any loss if u can open the captured file into final cut pro without FCP trying to decode it.
