our nation's dress code...

  yesterday night i watched tv and there was this short clip saying that we singaporeans have no fashion sense.
  as in wearing clothes that are inappropriate for some places. wearing the same attire everywhere. from neighbourhood market to CBD to orchard road.
  
  it said that our nation's dress code are,
  bermudas short
  t shirt/ sleeveless
  slipper/ sandal
  
  
  they interviewed some foreigners and they said we singaporean have bad taste in fashion
  then they interviewed singaporeans, we said as long as we like it, who cares?
  
  are we just trying to cover up our embarrassment by saying who cares?
  or are we really a bunch of people who don't care about fashion. what matters is that we are comfortable with it?

  I say I happy I shiok I comfortable can liao. Why should I care what other ppl tink of my fashion sense rite? If they see no suitable eye then give that no fashion clothes ppl money so they can buy more suitable eye clothes let them see lor.

  yes i always wear shorts and slippers and t shirts to school..cuz its comfortable..

  Come on, Singapore is sooooooooo...........hot and humid!!! What do you expect us to wear? I saw some youngsters wear scarves, beanies and jackets in Singapore! I nearly fainted just by looking at them. Don't tell me this is fashion.

  For sg girls, i always see them wear super short PE shorts + T shirt. Which is quite a good scene for guys to look at. They wear in such way to go nieghbourhood area, nieghbourhood shopping centers.
  
  i think in other countries, most girls wear like this only at home when they are about to sleep.
  
  For guys, shorts and sandals is like uniform for neighbourhood area. For most other countries, when guys go out, they dun want to show everyone how much leg hair they got. Unless for sports or beach outing.
  
  in China, once i went to a restaurant with my 2 colleagues, we 3 all wear bermudas short + slipper, the waiter/waitress and other customers all look at us like dinosaur.
  
  hmm... to sum it up all, sg dress code is too casual when the occasion is not supposed to be casual.
