1stly, I admit that I started this new thread because I wanna reach out to each n every forumite around and not just those "members" of the "Hardtail/ Full suspension" bicycle thread! (http://www.sgforums.com/?action=thread_display&thread_id=169516&page=16 )
SAFRA will be organizing a Mass Ride at the Paya Lebar airbase on 28 of May 2006(Runway Cycling )
Registration will start online on the 20th of MArch 2006

Alternatively, u can personally sign up for the event at any SAFRA club in Singapore (u have to pay $5 for rental of bike if u do not have your own, registration is free )
The early birds will receive goodie bags at the event!!!
Worried that u cannot keep up with the Roadies (road cyclists ) at the event?
Fret not! This is a LEISURE event!!! U are free to cycle at your own pace!
Besides bicycles, Kickscooters, RollerBlades and wheelchairs(for the disabled ) are welcomed too! In fact, an elderly man JOGGED alongside the bikes at last year's Runway Cycling!!!

So if u can't see registration notices at Safra online tomolo, its probably online at that day or earlier!

6) Military area..no cameras allowed (but can bring in Camera phones secretly..the guards there abit bo chup )
7) Bring at least 1 water bottle full of water (bring 2 if u wanna chiong or get thristy easily. ) or better still, bring a camelbak!
8 ) Got 2 routes to choose, short 1 or long 1. Choose the LONG 1 la... the short 1 is too short to be enjoyable!
9) Wear proper shoes.. dun wear slippers. Last year, a joker stopped his bike in the middle of the runway to pick up his slipper and nearly caused a bike pile up!
10) If possible..all of us here shall ride in 1 big group... SATH SATH (awesome in Hokkien )sia!~ -
