short-sleeve shirts

  hi all,
  
  I'm looking for places that sell short-sleeve shirts(those common types, with collar and buttons). Basically, I'm looking for 3 things:
  
  1) The fabric of the shirt should be thick, preferably.
  most short-sleeve shirts I've seen are made of very soft, light, filmsy cloth that you can easily rip apart with some strength.
  
  2) the price shouldn't be too expensive either. i'm not looking for branded stuff.
  basically, those in the S$16 - S$25 price range would be very nice(sale, discount etc.).
  
  3) I'm looking for 3 kinds of colors : black, very dark gray( http://img215.imageshack.us/img215/1552/29jt.gif ) and dark purple( http://img234.imageshack.us/img234/6100/19qp1.gif ).
  
  can anyone tell me the location(s) where i can get these shirts?

  I can find short sleeve shirts but i cannot find short sleeve shirts that meet all your 3 prerequisites.

  by the way, guys.....have you folks ever visited this departmental store called "Urban Warehouse" along the stretch of Orchard road? it's been a long time since i went there. anyone has any opinions/views on the stuff they sell?(they sell shirts and all kinds of apparel and sports stuff)

  KNN......the apparel scene in SG so pathetic meh?
  KNN......i went to Urban Warehouse at Orchard Road today.....they sell so many men's short-sleeve, collared-n-button shirts but all of them either too large or too thin and filmsy(until can see through???!!!! Shocked).
  the choice/variety of colors also very pathetic : got one shirt that's dark navy-blue but since the lightning is dim, i ask the sales assistant if it's black.
  she have the cheek to say yes. later, i go to fitting room and try and see that it's actually dark navy-blue. KNN! thank god i never buy it.
  
  later, i went to The Heeren to look for the shirts. but KNN......there all 13 - 19 year old C.M.I. teens; very annoying and irritating. guys act gangster and act cool; the girls act perky and cute. both genders act hip and trendy, like they are the Olsen twins. KNN!
  the shops at Heereen all sell girls' clothes + those girly-accessories, and lots of those clubbing style shirts(those t-shirts and teenage-boy pants that kind).
  
  then on the bus journey, saw three pretty Anglo-Chinese JC girls, but the way they talk is like they just came back after decades of living in America.
  along Orchard road, i passed 3 St. Magaret girls in school uniform. KNN!
  the way they talk is as if they're made up of Caucasian-American DNA cells totally. Mad
  
  i got go into Takashimaya and Isetan, Wisma Atria and those shops to browse, but the shirts there are simply beyond my budget : one simple ordinary, not-so-good-looking piece can cost S$59.90 and above.
  insane ones cost S$80++.....
  
  please lah......all i'm looking for are black and dark grey respectable shirts with buttons and collars that cost under S$25. so hard to find in Singapore meh?
  KNN........does anyone know of any good place got sell such shirts????!!!!!

  I find that the cutting of such short sleeve shirts is indeed getting from bad to worse, not to mention the designs and odd sizes esp ard the sleeve area.
  
  I suggest u look at long sleeve shirts which u can fold or roll up the sleeves in a nice way and it will look way nicer than those short sleeves. Just my view...

  1) where can i find Robinsons and John Little stores? there's a John Little store at the 1st storey of Jurong Point, but the variety quite poor and the quality really see-through that kind. anywhere else?
  
  2) where are the Fashion Outlet Stores(FOS) located? any branch that's near the Jurong, Queenstown, Bukit Batok, Clementi area? or are they only in Orchard?

  really? is it those ah-beng/flowery/dragon designs? how about the price?
  
  on a second note, you all got notice that Queensway shopping centre got a lot of very real, Hong-Kong/mafia type ah-bengs anot? these kinds are different from the rest i've seen all my life.
