    • Ever used toothpaste b4? Well, i use it and well..it's quite nice..face doesnt seem tat oily anymore (my skin is the oily type). In fact, it's seems better now. How did i know of this 'weird' method? Fren of mine told me once that his neighbour used to have pimply face...then he started using toothpaste to wash his face...and then his face is now cleared up. Anyway...not sure abt u ppl but for me...it's quite good. I wash using toothpaste once per day. (same way u wash using normal cleanser, put some on palm and spread it evenly then rub on ur face) My face is oily and sensitive. But after using the toothpaste...it's not so oily. Plus my face not tat sensitive anymore. Sensitive skin has the blushy look (pinkishness). Washing with toothpaste gives u a very very cooling sensation after u wash. Maybe that's the reason why pimples can disappear. Coz of the cooling effect. Well..u can try it and see if it works...A friend said that toothpaste dries up the skin. Well...perhaps that's why it works for oily skin like mine..not sure abt normal skin though. Nevertheless, i can certainly say that it works compared to those specially made for oily skin cleansers which claim to work but after a few hours ..the face feels oily again. Best thing abt it is tat i dont wash with toothpaste evrytime but i can feel the effects all day long. Hope this tip can benefit some of u..
      p/s: i'm not responsible if anything undesirable happens..lol...but i can swear that i like using it. It gives a much cleaner feel and it cools up the skin...erm...give it a go if u'd like to...btw..i use fresh & white toothpaste..never tried other brands yet...

    • seems logical to me.. pimples are acidic, so the toothpaste helps.

      but i think u're hardening and toughing up your skin ba..?

    • SIAO!!!

      Toothpaste = alkaline...

      Pimples i not sure if its acidic, but says who?

      Anyway i think its not recommended in a long run.... maybe will have side ffects like someone said, harden ur skin or whatever..

      I heard that one too, drain the water the 2nd time you wash the rice and keep it overnight in the fridge. Haven't tried it though.. Laughing

    • Erm, of coz i still use facial cleansers and the other assortment of facial products. That’s why i said…u just use it once in a while…at most…just once per day. And of coz i know toothpaste is not designed for the face. Nevertheless, i still use it coz i know it brings positive effects…at least for me. Besides, i’m just asking u ppl to try it if u want to…if it doesnt work..then dont use it then…as simple as that…

    • Well, i guess dry skinned ppl shudnt try it. I think shud be more suited to oily skin since it lessens sebum secretion. Not reli sure abt normal skin but those with normal skin dun reli have much reason to try it out anyway…since their skin is alredi in a good condition..and this is not a hoax la ppl…

    • erm.. i read in a mag b4… ya..it’s effective in eliminating pimples but it may lead to other skin prob if u haf sensitive skin…. the beautician strictly do not recommend toothpaste. Instead, u shd go and buy those acne or pimple cream.
