i like avenged sevenfold anwiay it is sort of a christian band right?.. heard all their lyrics and song titles are derived from the bible

ain't A7X a metalcore band? and cradle of filth belong more ot less to the melodic metal genre. Songs of COF like gothic romance, in secret love we drown, haunted shores, etc are nice.

i like several songs frm A7X, namely beast and the harlot, seize the day, sidewinder, i wont see you tonight part 1.

z7x ain't trash metal. for example: the beast and the harlot video has meaning alrite? u shld go check it out. Anyway, the 'harlot' in the vid is f*ckin' hot!

A7x is using quotes from the bible, its so wrong man, the bible is ment to be sacret, not to be used to make money out of.

They are trash metal (confermed with many A7x fans), if you want metalcore try 3iob (3 inches of blood).

COF is Melodic black metal, well cof has a mix of songs, power,speed.ect.

If its metal, its satanic, its trash Metal. Dont let it bother you, just dont do stupid things... like killing people on stage (there was a black metal band who did that,long time ago), AND you should not go against God.

bat country is not bad. (or is it county?) but they sound nothing like thrash metal to me. But i'm comparing them with Slayer which is not really fair.

But i prefer Opeth, Dimmu Borgir and Lamb of God.

i'm more into melodic speed metal(progressive metal..powermetal...epic...watever they call it in their countries...)such as dragonforce....sonata arctica....rhapsody...zonata....blind guardian...stratovarius

im verryy into a7x. they are a mixture of trash/heavy and metalcore. they arent a christian band altho many of their lyrics have references to the bible. but they already say that their lyrics are secular and none of them are satanists.

u also wrong =) MOST metal bands are secular and there are are christian ones as well. however there also are alot of satanic ones like cradle of filth, dimmu borgir, morbid angel, darkthrone...their called black metal.

COF is not associated with a7x.
COF is melodic black metal, but i'll say their music is nice.
But Saosin and Atreyu (metalcore mixed with punk) and coheed and cambria (alternative and progressive rock) ranks among a7x.

Punk rock (be it emo, screamo, metal punk, etc) bands would include the finch, taking back sunday, a static lullaby, an early november, the anantomy of a ghost, good charlotte, the used, hawthorne heights, matchbook romance, no use for a name, from first to last, dashboard confessional, etc

Modern rock would include Rooster.

Progressive rock would inc. Sentenced.

Pop punk or pop rock would include all american rejects, sum 41, blink 182, the click five, etc. Their music are mostly for kids, but maybe i'll make an exception for blink 182 somwehow. travis....

But i do like acoustic rock too.

a7x is not like C&C.
their influences are metallica, slayer, pantera, megadeth stuff like that...

duno leh local got no good metal bands...at least none that i know of...
even if have i doubt they match the skills and songwriting ability of the european and american metal bands....

btw. atreyu is metalcore...
