  Did not buy anything that is associated to PC at PC Show.
  
  Bought a Roomba Discovery Robot Vacuum Cleaner though - relatively good deal as compared to that offered by COURTS.
  
  Too late to share, I guess... since the show just ended a few hours ago.

  I must say I used to be quite turned off by Acer. This could be due to the fact that I used to spend over 4K for a Pentium 4 notebook which weighs about 3.5kg - so damn heavy.
  
  Then, during the IT Show '06, I scouted around and pounced upon Acer TravelMate 3012. I thought I would never get another Acer again, but eventually still fall back on the brand again - Light (less than 2kg), Dual Core, 1.66 GHz 667 MHz, 2MB L2 cache, and cost about $2598..
  
  Quite worth it, really, so do consider Acer if you are on a budget. If not, go for Lenovo ones.

  dun mix up bcos lenovo have their own notebooks oso
  
  acer is value for money, esp the dual core range but be careful, the feedback of acer dual core users is it overheats terribly, causing the notebook to shut off on its own (w/o going thru proper shutdown)

  Got a cooler base for my laptop. Now it feels much more comfortable placing my hand on the palm area. Along with 5 PC Mags for 10 bucks

  the T60 at the show is the low end one
  got another model is better specs......
  
  batt life is about 8hrs
  
  one thing bad abt it is no dedicated graphics card.........
