  Eat your books.
  
  Do not eat anything else other than your books, for they will mess up your body's absorption system and end up absorbing things other than your syllabi.
  
  No condiments too! Just eat the book on its own.
  
  edit: After all, people say that YOU ARE WHAT YOU EAT!

  do TYS... my student failed her prelims bio. then i made her do all the TYS questions and go through with her... and she got A1 for the Os. no sht!!

  The TYS is a very valuable aid so use it. There are different strategies for different subjects, but memorizing alone is not very helpful. Try understanding topics fully (not a sketchy understanding) to help you memorize effectively.
  
  For instance, in biology, what are the adaptations of red blood cells?
  
  You can straight-forwardly remember that said cells are biconcave, have no nuclei and are flattened and elastic.
  
  Or you can recall their roles as effective oxygen transporters (around the circulatory system, which includes small and intricate capillaries), and thus try to figure out how exactly the structure should be like in order to fulfil that function. As a general rule, structure gives rise to function (in biology) while structure gives rise to properties (in chemistry).

  For sciences and maths:
  
  Write all formulae down. Memorise. Use creative words and phrases to memorise.
  Read again last min before entering exam hall.
  
  For English:
  
  Read more newspapers, informative magazines, novels. Listen to good english programmes like BBC, CNA...

  I MUZ and i muz get A1 for both my maths..A1 for either chem or phy... A2 for humans..B3 for eng...then wifff my A1 china which i took last year.. i willl get 9 point can can safely send me thr TJC...no more slacking ....no more repeat of my pathetic results in the mids..

  I'm taking Os this year. I'm not that stressed yet, except for art lah. The whole atmosphere in my school is like damn relax. Die alr lah, dunno can make it to poly or not.
