northpoint = yishun mrt
sun plaza = sembawang mrt
sembawang shopping centre is on its own one... at sembawang rd, between yishun & sembawang mrt but not on near the tracks. -
Northpoint and Sun Plaza dun have any CD Rama shop. Northpoint in lvl 3 still got 1 record shop, cant rmb the name, directly opp Sembwang music centre.Originally posted by ^tamago^:northpoint

In general for english and mandarin backdated albums Sembawang is cheaper and has more variety. For latest and up to date Mandarin, MJ or CD Rama are cheaper. Of cuz once a while if there are promotion, it is cheaper at whichever stores lor.
IMO, looking for backdated english heavymetal band music, Sembawang is way much better and cheaper and more titles. The other is HMV and Tower Records which are so very very expensive!!!!!
As for backdated Mandarin titles I not so sure cuz I bought from all Sembawang,MJ and CD Rama. -

For lastest chinese cds, cd rama will mostly be cheaper against sembawang music by about $1 plus. I go laserflair to loan their drama shows, den go home to burn into cds, haha, can slowly watch the shows.
Northpoint B1 also have 2 shops selling cds too, but its mostly drama vcds, 1 is Poh Kim, i think, the other cant remember liao.

By the time you travelled to CD shops all over singapore to compare prices, the fare paid is enough to buy you another CD.
Dun compare, just buy from your nearest shop lah. -

cd-rama 20.90, sembawang 18.90.
but i agree, generally cd-rama offers better prices. -

tat's why i tend to visit a few in an area. city hall/suntec has gramophone (capitol), sembawang (funan+millenia+sogo), hmv (citylink), tower, carrefour (suntec), earz (if u wan to count). the only exception is cd-rama.
orchard will have cd-rama (mrt), sembawang (mrt), hmv. nearby plus that cd shop (overpriced though), gramophone (gwc), that cd shop (ex, pacific+gwc).
others may be just passing by and update mental price list nia. if got sale quickly grab. -
