Ani 1 from normal academic / norm tech / EM3 before?

Hais.. jus to tink of that.. ani i from normal acad / normal tech or even EM3? Do u have a feeling that ppl from other streams tend to look down on us?.
I was reading another post " maths can or cannot" and it suddenly strikes me with this question. Does it mean that ppl from lower stream means cannot study? ? I doubt so. I tink it's a matter of time for us to kai qiao ( wake up).
Maybe I can share my experiences with you guys.. hopefully I can insipre you all of you to work hard and do not feel so despair.
Ok..
Remember there's a streaming exam at pri 4? okie.. I was considered the stupidest among the class.. luckily, i scrapped thr the exam and got into EM2 but second last class.. (almost = EM3 class).. which teachers juz give up hope on us.. etc. And as expected, I score a merely 165 for PSLE.. OMG.. 165!! can go whr? Normal academic. Only way to go.. no choice.
During my sec school, all the express students actually look down on me. Passing hurtful remarks like .. stupid class.. etc. However, that was the time I kai qiao. I start to work hard. Seriously, my parents, teachers and friends kept on asking" Hey wad happen to u? suddenly so hardworking?" honestly, I don't know. The feeling just came. The motivation just there. I was not angry or troubled by the hurtful remarks. As I was immuned since my primary school days.
At the end, I managed to get to Poly wth 11 pts.
So from my story, I am not boasting the good grades that I have got / I just wanna share my experiences to all of you. Do not feel despair, there will be one day , where you will succeed. It's just a matter of time. OKie?

I've gotten into em3, got around 210 for psle, went into express, but retained, now no interest in studying at all.

it all depends on oneself, although i am not from normal academic / norm tech / EM3, i can understand how it is felt when people look down on u... that's when u can't give up but start working hard to prove them wrong! it's never too late for anything! all the best all =)

I'm glad to see that you managed to overcome the disparaging treatment of dimwits who looked down on you just because you're in that stream.
If anything, I'm sure a good portion of them got thrashed by you. As it is to get 11 points is a pretty good achievement in itself.
Those idiots may have prematurely judged your abilities, but no one can truly judge the human spirit. I've never looked down on normal stream students, and be it far from me to ever do that. We can all be successful if we're willing to work for it. -

didnt look down on me. in fact, find i, as a NT student very interesting.

I seriously do look down on normal academic, norm tech, EM3 students, but only those who act like gansters and say that ppl with good grades are nerds. For people like you, I am totally fine with them

I am currently in SEC3 NA Stream. I was in express last year and dropped this year, to be frank i dont put in effort in my studies at all. Im not ashamed to say that, its because i feel that studies are really a bore to me. I find computers like the studying of them way more interesting than doing MATHEMATICAL PROBLEM SUMS. I cant sit for more than an hour doing them. I will fall asleep.

If got courage to scold people Nerd then if people call you Stupid dun go and kpkb got discrimination against all NA/NT/EM3 students.
Somehow I feel that the people in NA/NT/EM3 are more sincere, better than all the Top students, so pretentious. -

mi from normal stream too... but u guys know what i achieved now right.. especially in term of jio char bo... so NORMAL stream so what... at least we are normal what.. not ABNORMAL right?
