  seen before, I think maybe the hummingbird already dead and the mantis just inserted its front claws and the corpse fell off causing the mantis to hang upside down. I really doubt the mantis is so powerful as to impale and kill the bird while the bird is in midair.

  The hummingbird was lvl 2. The praying mantis was lvl 6. The mantis had higher agility than the bird. The bird had low hp at lvl 2.

  The Praying mantis got Boot of Travel and portal to the hummingbird. Hit the Bird with the cranium basher. The bird got stunned and cannot move. At this moment the mantis strike with its sharp claws and jabbed the poor bird to death.....GODLIKE for the mantis!
