Vivo City sudden blackout

Shoppers at VivoCity were in for a minor surprise on Saturday evening (2 Dec) when a blackout occurred at VivoCity.
Shops on the first, second and third storeys of the southwestern corner of the shopping mall were affected by the power outage, which lasted for about ten minutes.
The power outage was caused by an earth fault resulting in a tripped electrical circuit. The VivoCity management revealed that they are now monitoring the situation closely to prevent a re-occurrence of the earth fault.
STOMPers who witnessed the incident sent in photos of the situation. 33-year-old Yew Kheng was at VivoCity at about 7.30pm when the blackout occurred. "People were just standing around and waiting for the lights to come back on. After ten minutes, I decided to stop waiting and go home," he said. -

was there on sat.. the headlines is a bit exaggerated lah.
only a small section was affected, and it was not pitch black total darkness, cos there was light from other areas. those who are planning to rob tang's on the next blackout.. too bad, no chance. people can still see your face. -
