for rjc, need to haf 3 points liddat
it's a great sch, lots of great teachers, fun activities
most of e stuff u would want
got so many diff things going on,
u can really find somewhere u belong lah
e chem department really rockz.. e notes.. e teaching
with all their chim teaching, chem S becomes a walk in e park lah
e PE department oso quite gd
e new campus is abit of cold n unfeeling... too big
people wise... very ang moh lah
lots of confidence.. n also arrogance everywhere
n some snobbish ppl
got a 2m tall ang moh principal
he tell u u study or play.. ur own prob lah
i guess coz it doesn't really matter to him whether u fail ur As
coz in e end more than 1/2 get their 4As
got quite a few yandaos n chiobus lah
e atmosphere is quite individualistic
so it may come as a culture shock for some
if u are okay with these, then i tink u will enjoy it over there lah -

Why RJC, who you wanna be in the future?
Actually, if you can get into RJC, you can get an offer from all the JCs.
I dun mind to go to the JC which is near my house, because to sleep 15 more mins is very very very important if you are doing your A level...and somemore you can save on transportation -
trust me. come to rjc. we are preparing cool orientation stuff for you guys next yr LOL

Come HC. The merger with TCHS means that u get a very large campus and all facilities x 2. 2 auditoriums, 2 staff offices, 2 canteens,2 huge libraries, swimming pool, rock-climbing wall, 2 MPHs and many many more facilties. College students are free to roam about in TCHS and vice versa.
But results must be very good to enter. L1R5 max abt 7-8 without bonuses. Perfect 6 then can take bio. -
I think the RJC boys are too weak, not man enough. Then RJC girls think too highly of themselves, eyes on top of their eyes. In general, RJC is an elitist school.

go to hwachong! it's already been mentioned that hwachong produces the most President Scholars and government scholars! more than raffles. and if you want to do anything other than politics, hwachong is better. it may appear cheena but dont be fooled! furthermore its near island creamery
great ice cream!
edit: oh and the reason why 'raffles' sound top is because hwachong doesnt get as much media coverage even when it IS better than raffles in some areas (i dont deny that raffles is better in some too), but the english mainstream media DOES in fact downplay hwachong's achievements just because of its past communist activity (which is not the fault of the students/teachers now) and hence the media is biased against hwachong! you regularly see raffles and/or ac high achievers get publicised widely, but rarely do you see an equally high achieving hwachong student get publicised! (especially in sports when students who represent singapore usually have their school acknowledged especially if its raffles or ac, but 2 air rifle boys and 1 air rifle girl and another karate girl who went to doha recently do not get the recognition!) -
